We offer access to NCIDQ Exam Complete in recurring and fixed-length subscriptions.
All plans start immediately upon purchase. Recurring plans renew at the same price as when purchased. The exact renewal date and amount are shown in your cart and at checkout before you buy.
Our best-priced option is the 4-Month Premium Access, a fixed-length subscription that does not automatically renew. It includes your choice of a textbook at savings over the same items purchased separately. This is our most popular and recommended option for 1 exam season to cover the full study plan and the exam month.
Recurring subscriptions automatically renew until you cancel.
If you do not wish to continue your subscription, simply cancel before renewal. You won’t be charged again if you do so before your plan renews. Then, you can keep access to your plan until it expires.

Yes! All practice tests and questions are organized according to the latest test distribution. We always use the latest NCIDQ codes, and we’ll teach you how to use these so you can confidently answer code-related questions on exam day.
The study group provides members with a daily study schedule and detailed lesson summaries with audio following the NCIDQ Exam Blueprints.
We are always adding and updating our quiz questions and case studies. Based on member feedback, we actively continue our updates throughout every exam season and regularly post notices in the study group.
The NCIDQ Exam is not a book test; it focuses on applied knowledge. While Qpractice includes daily lesson summaries of the topics on each knowledge statement on the NCIDQ Exam blueprints, most designers will need a reference for the recommended reading.
You can choose either the most current edition of the Interior Design Reference Manual or the Qpractice NCIDQ Exam Guide.
Other practice problem books are optional but recommended. The 4-month individual plan includes your choice of books at a savings.
You will also need a computer with the following:

We use login-by-email, so you need to use an email that you can access and control.

We recommend using a personal computer where you can control the use of such software rather than a work computer.
*All other course content, the study group, and regular multiple-choice questions work fine on current tablets and phones.
The Qpractice study plan is 12 weeks to cover all knowledge statements on the NCIDQ Blueprints for all 3 NCIDQ Exams — IDFX, IDPX, and PRAC. The study schedule leaves you some time free on the weekends to catch up or take a break.
You can easily complete each Qpractice daily summary lesson with audio and quiz in about an hour. Most Answer Vault videos are short—typically 5-15 minutes. Access the study group on your mobile app any time on the go for Q&A so you can make regular daily progress toward your goal, even on busy workdays. Just follow the schedule.
Reviewing your less familiar topics will take more research and reading. Take the Work Experience Assessment and your Baseline Practice Tests to help determine how much extra time you need to spend. Based on your experience level and weak areas, spend extra time reviewing that material. You can take our practice tests unlimited times throughout the testing season.
For the NCIDQ Practicum, we also recommend you follow the daily study schedule, review the lessons, and spend about a week reviewing each content area, including quizzes, plus a week or two on each case study. We’ve incorporated the review time into our study schedule so it aligns with other exam topics, and you can save time by studying for all three exams at once if you need to.
So, if your schedule is tight, don’t worry – just plan ahead and study when it is most convenient for you.

While it’s unlikely that questions would be identical, you may see similar questions on the exam or in other resources.
No. The NCIDQ Exam is not scored like a typical exam because it is based on scaled scores, not raw scores. The scores are scaled from 200 (0 correct) to 800 (all correct), with the passing/cut point set to 500. This is done so that different exams using different blueprints or exam administrations can be considered equally challenging, even when the questions are different.
Qpractice allows you to retake your practice tests as often as you wish with a different question assortment each time. In addition, you can view your scores by exam content area, with answers and explanations for each question. We also include reference sources for further study. With NCIDQ Exam Complete, you’ll know exactly which content areas to focus on.
Qpractice has full-length, half-length, timed, and untimed practice tests designed to help you prepare for the computer-based NCIDQ Exams. Each daily lesson has quizzes on the lesson topic.
Our practice tests and mock exams simulate the actual exam experience in both timing and delivery. We use the same question types as PRAC (drag and drop, hotspot, fill in the blank) with a very similar interface. We have timed tests to simulate exam day, so you can plan to spend the same amount of time on the practice exams. You can take the quizzes or tests as many times as you want, and you’ll get a different random selection of questions each time, each balanced to match the same weight and distribution as the actual exam.
You can’t stop a Qpractice test in the middle before completing it, so if you’re in a hurry, you can take the short quizzes at the end of each lesson.
