Or construction change directive, is a written order by the interior designer BEFORE owner and contractor have agreed on an adjustment to the contract in terms of time or cost. If the contractor agrees, the change is recorded as a change order.
Written order requesting change from contract documents prepared by interior designer AFTER contract docs have been signed and approved. Technically issued by the owner, but must be approved by the contractor, owner, and interior designer.
